The boat is located on the outer pier, behind the Rathlin Ferry.

Follow the signs for the Rathlin ferry and you will arrive at the ferry terminal. To the right of the terminal you will see a pier, walk down the pier through the big green gate and we are on the right, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk down the pier if you park in the car park behind the ferry terminal.

Parking is limited so ensure you arrive in plenty of time and to find parking and make it to the boat 15 minutes before departure.

NB: Trips depart at time shown on booking, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior for boarding. And allow plenty of time to get to the venue, Ballycastle will be extremely busy.

Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge, Cliffs, Caves, Waterfalls Tour

Departing Ballycastle harbour for a tour along the North Coast, on departing the harbour you are greeted with spectacular views of the cliffs at Fairhead, Rathlin island and Mull of Kintyre in Scotland.

We make our way Westward along the North Coast, taking in the sights of Kinbane Castle, a McDonnell strong hold from 1547, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, salmon fisherman’s cottage on Carrick a Rede Island, spectacular sea caves, the giants cut in the limestone cliff, smugglers cave, and the mermaids waterfall.

The cliffs are alive with nesting sea birds from early spring. Seals, dolphins, whale and Basking shark in late summer, can all be encountered on our tours.

Puffins, Seals and Lighthouses Tour

Cost:       £27.50 – £33.00 per person        Duration:      2h

NB: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior for check-in and boarding.

As we depart Ballycastle harbour heading out into Rathlin sound to capture the stunning views of Irelands North Coast, Rathlin Island, Mull of Kintyre and Scottish islands of Islay and Jura.

The tour will make its way East towards Rue Point lighthouse and Ushetport with the basking seals on the rocks. The cliffs around the island are alive with over 100,000 seabirds nesting on the cliffs, highlight of the trip is the puffins often seen on the water as well as on the cliffs.

Perched on top of the cliff Altnacarry Lighthouse 72 metre above sea level. We will have great opportunity to photograph the Puffins, Razor bill, gullimot, kitiwake, skua, gulls, diving gannets and fulmar. A look inside Bruce’s cave where Robert the Bruce took refuge after fleeing Scotland in 1306. This trip lasts for approximately 2 hours

This tour is not suitable for buggies, prams or wheelchairs.

We can not guarantee wildlife on tours but try our best to search for them and will have a Marine Mammal Observor or a scientist onboard to assist.
